We don’t mean to boast but we have pretty amazing retailers. We feel lucky to partner with store owners who are as passionate about skin care as we are. So needless to say, when Dr. Oz contacted us to be a part of his new shop, Beauty Sage, we were thrilled. There may have been more than a few squeals heard around our office. The editorial team at Beauty Sage handpicks what they call “the cream of the crop” to go in their shop. But it doesn’t stop there. Then their team of chemists come in, led by industry expert Ni’Kita Wilson. They analyze every claim and ingredient confirming that the products really deliver on their promises. These guys are serious about great skin care. And we are extremely honored to be among the first 19 brands in the shop!

They teamed up with our friend TJ (the man behind our tutorials) to put together this lovely video about how we began and the philosophy behind our brand as a part of their Sage Stories Series.

We’re not going to lie. Two cameras, a giant light, and the hidden mic were pretty intimidating. Let’s just say TJ has infinite patience and by the end, the shoot was a
pure blast!

Our friend, Sarah DeShaw also stopped by and captured these behind the scenes photos of the making of the video. We’d like to think it was as effortless as her gorgeous photos suggest. But to be honest, some sort of magic happens when life is filtered through
her lens.

Suzanne was in her element sharing her approach to formulating and making our products as well as how to use them. Here we are shooting how to make treatment foundation (one of our favorite ways to use Skin Savior).
