One of our favorite things about throwing a party is planning the menu. For our Spa Day Party, we took inspiration from our theme and did a twist on a spa menu. Naturally.

We kicked things off by greeting our guests with a cup of fragrant, herbal tea. Aren’t the mugs so cute? They made the perfect party favors. (Along with some OLO products
of course!)

And you can’t have a Spa Day without lots of water, so we made our signature homemade vitamin water and included thin slices of orange for an authentic spa experience. But this is a party, so we also added a little kick.

We steeped 1 tbs of organic grapefruit peel and 2 tbs of dried lemon balm in purified water in the refrigerator overnight. Right before the party,  we filled our beautiful glass decanter with the chilled homemade vitamin water and added freshly sliced Valencia oranges and a bit of the juice for a light sweetener. Delicious! And then for the kick, we added Hangar One Mandarin Orange Blossom to taste. Added bonus? Hangar One is hand crafted in small batches. In their own words, “When something’s made like this, with love, you can always taste the difference.” We couldn’t agree more!

Or course, we needed something to nosh on while we made ourselves pretty, so we put together some of favorite Savory Toasts. These little guys are so simple, but so delicious! Great ingredients are key here, so we started with Farmer’s Market fresh produce and bread. We toasted slices of Sun-dried Tomato bread and Olive bread. Cut generous slices of Avocado. A light drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of Chile flakes. We know. It sounds too easy, but we guarantee these little toasts will be your new favorite too. We also did a variation with sliced Heirloom Tomatoes (heirlooms really are the juiciest and most flavorful), a couple leaves of fresh basil, a thin drizzle of olive oil, and a pinch of course sea salt and cracked pepper. Yum!
